Rainestorm is dedicated to the idea that passion can be positive. Too much of the blogosphere is vitriol posing as critical analysis or, worse, hip sophistication. I have been guilty of more than my fair share of circulating poisonous prose and have found it to be toxic not just to the world at large but to myself.

That being said, the antithesis of passion is apathy, and apathy is the antithesis of life, love and the fiery pursuit of happiness. Therefore, Rainestorm.com encourages lively and heated discussion about any topic, especially movies and art. However, Rainestorm.com will not tolerate personal attacks, insults or childish schoolyard rants…. not even by me. If you feel I’ve stepped over the line, call me on it.
